Sunday‘s ride is a more relaxed pace of 40-50 miles at a steady pace with full rotation. Derek will have a route for this ride.
Washington Park Picnic Shelter
Show-n-Go Geezer Ride. Retired geezers or wannabe geezers have a laid-back show-n-go ride weekdays for about 30 miles or so. The direction we head depends on who shows up and which direction the wind is blowing, but will generally be about 30 miles. Meet at the Washington Park Picnic Pavilion
For May, we‘ll be riding out of Centennial Park. Meet at the park for a 5:45 rollout, with 20-25 miles of mixed surface fun. This is a no-drop ride, and pace will vary depending on those that arrive. We typically average between 15-17mph for the ride.
The first MNG every month will be at a slower pace with less rugged routes. If you‘re new to gravel, not used to group riding, or just unsure if you can keep pace with our normal ride, please come out and join us for the first Monday of the month.

30+ miles on some of the hills north of Springfield. The group will head out of town with the Team Mack group. Ride Leaders are Sean Walker and Nick Fogleman.
Join Jennifer for 20-30 miles!
SLOW C NO DROP ride - About 20 miles, down the Sangamon Valley Trail, through the country for a few miles past Bomke‘s Patch, then back to Stuart Park via the Sangamon Valley Trail. See the Club "Slow C" collection in the Ride with GPS app for route information.
This is a no-drop ride that starts at a 17 mph average at the start of the season, progressing to 18-19 mph. There is a coffee stop after the ride at Caribou Coffee.

We encourage you to forego the D Ride on the Sangamon Valley Trail this week only and join the annual Ride of Silence honoring cyclists killed or injured while enjoying their sport. Details on this ride will be forthcoming.
THIS WEEK ONLY the D ride is a Show & Go casual cruise on the Sangamon Valley Trail. Pace will be 10-12 mph and covering about 12 or optional 25 miles. This is a great ride for novice cyclists.
The Ride of Silence is the cyclist‘s opportunity to promote awareness for our right to share the road with motorists and to honor those who have been injured of killed by a motorist while cycling on public road.
We will assemble at Wheel Fast at 6:45, ride at 7:00 PM. Learn more at the Facebook event

Saturday‘s V-Park rides are an A-level recreational endurance ride of 50+- miles. As this is NOT A TRAINING RIDE and is a NO DROP RIDE, stronger riders should set a pace that keeps the group together. If you‘d like additional work, please ride off the back. These rides should be steady pace with full group rotation to involve all riders who want to work up front.
Sunday‘s ride is a more relaxed pace, 40-50 miles at a steady pace with full rotation. Derek will have a route prepared for many of these rides.
